The Kungkungan Bay Website: This is the new website for our favorite dive site in Indonesia, KBR. The work of Larry and Denise Nielsen Tackett, the site is attractive, has some great photos of the KBR critter stars and lots of information about KBR and how to get there.

The World of Steve Norvich: Great photography combined with well written articles on liveaboards in Papua New Guinea and Belize. Don't miss the piece on diving Truk Lagoon, the wide angle wreck shots are great! There is an excellent trip report on the liveaboard "Tiata" and diving Milne Bay in PNG with great macro shots. Steve's latest addition is a trip report on our favorite diving area: Kungkungan Bay! Beautiful images and a narrative that really captures the essence of the place.

WASSI'S SCUBAPAGE the creation of Jan Wassman, Tauchenmeister extraordinary and excellent UW photographer. Jan and his wife Christine have shared many of our diving adventures in Indonesia. Their home is in Hamburg, Germany. Check out their new section on their recent trip to Bonaire, nice photos and resort review (in German, but the photos are in the international language!)

ScubaDuba: WEIRD NAME, great site! Very attractive with all the latest web technotricks, the content is extensive and the quality of material first rate. There is a plethora of great things for divers of widely varying interests. Don't miss checking out the "Top 5" page if you are in the mood (to determine this, check out the mood ring on your right third finger and if it is an argyle color, you have a "go signal") for a few good laughs.

Maui Scuba Diving: Ed and Sue Robinson's web page from the sunny isle of Maui. Information about their diving operations in Maui. Good sections on diving info and some great UW photo shots. Don't miss the Harlequin Shrimp image! Probably as close as I will ever get to seeing one of these little beauties.

Rainbowed Seas Tours: this is the page of Chris Newbert and Birgitte Wilms and has the usual business promotions, but very nicely done. My favorite sections are the photography galleries. Offered in two levels of resolution for the faint hearted, the shots are beautiful. The macro work of Birgitte is great and the subject matter unique. Check out the shot of the Blue Ring Octopus at G24, I think this may be the best macro photograph of an unusual and difficult to approach creature I have ever seen. There is a fantastic shot at E24 that is the spitting image of my mother-in-law! ("Just kidding Mom, put down that frying pan!")

Haben Sie Deutsch? Well, even if you don't speak German it is well worth a visit to UNTERWASSERFOTO , Gunter Schindlmayer's website all about underwater photography. Although the text is all German, the photos are in the international language we all share. There is a nice photo gallery under BILDERGALERIE. There are also links to excellent German UW equipment dealers like Sea Cam and Subtronic.

Dive Deep Underwater Photography: Mitsuaki Takata has created this artistic masterpiece. One of the most beautiful layouts I have seen on the WWW and the images are stunning. Mitsuaki has images from the Indopacific, Okinawa and the Maldives. A great collection of blenny shots and if you love super macro work, don't miss the "Supermicro Art" page, Matsuaki has images of tiny subjects that are incredible.

The Colours of the Blue: Michel Scokaert has put together a breathtaking collection of images from all around the world. He has added several new galleries and the goodies from Wakatobi in Indonesia are stunning.

Vito Lorusso Home Page: Vito is a very talented underwater photographer, based in Italy. His web site is beautifully designed with great photo images and a unique layout.

JIM KASSON'S (MOSTLY) UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY PAGE: This site contains a stunning collection of fantastic macrophotography from the Pacific area and Elsewhere. If you are interested in shooting macro and ultra-macro (inframinimacro?) Jim has a great technical section of the use of lenses and attachments for macro work. If you are the kind of UW photographer who enjoys getting great Whale Shark nostril whisker shots while everyone else is wasting their time with those silly wide angle lenses, this site is for you!

JEFF'S NUDIBRANCH PAGE: A beautifully designed site (the background wallpaper is worth the trip alone) by Jeff Jeffords began as a nudibranch site, but has now expanded into a gorgeous collection of macro photography from his trips to the Philippines. There is also a great macro/nudibranch FAQ listing.

THE SLUG PAGE: This site is the work of Michael Miller and is truly the promised land for all lovers of the true aristocrat of the reef, the nudibranch. Lots of information, great images, links to nudibranch sites around the world and even for anyone brave enough to enter into the strange and two dimensional world of the flatworm. Real "nudie lovers" wouldn't be caught dead associating with flatworms as we all know they have generally unsavory characters and prolonged contact inevitably leads to sea warts.
